New World Order

At the epicenter of disappointment.

I sit, disillusioned.

I waited at the wake of destruction for this.

For you to render me invisible.

I never should’ve appeared to you in the first place.

Winter is a lonely world with silent time.

When I walk I walk alone,

Somehow you managed to follow.

I could’ve counted on it but like Lot…

I turned round and you were gone.

Left behind nothing more than a pillar of salt and a well of loneliness.

If I say I don’t believe in you, would you believe in me?

You’re in the wind, and I hear you whisper.

Just don’t be surprised when I finally get up and keep walking

Go on, Speak Up!
